Having received estimates from a well known company who came to my house, expected me to chose everything including appliances from a brochure and sign up there and then and a high street company who at least allowed me time to make decisions but had a limited range, I was feeling rather unenthusiastic about the idea of kitchen renovation. I then saw Cloisters on the TV programme “Grand Designs” and decided to see what they could offer.
I was amazed by the difference in approach. My initial consultation lasted well over 2 hours even though, by then, I had a reasonable idea as to what I wanted. There was no pressure to make instant decisions but Mike made many very helpful suggestions for improvement and was happy to redraw the design several times until I felt it was exactly what I wanted. The choice of doors and worktops was vast, rather than limited to a narrow range from one company. I also bought all my appliances from Cloisters as, despite having searched the internet extensively, I could not find them at a lower price anywhere.
I managed to achieve a high quality kitchen with a granite worktop and top of the range appliances for the same price as I was quoted by the high street companies for a far inferior version. The personal attention, delivery and after sales service was second to none and I would not hesitate to recommend Cloisters.

Having scoured the internet looking for a quality kitchen company, I stumbled across Cloisters.
The range of kitchen options available is superb and the design service - not to mention the friendly staff - is spot on!
I was not disappointed by the quality of my chosen units - I went for a oak painted shaker finished in a gorgeous Farrow and Ball pointing.
It contrasts well with my black range cooker and American fridge freezer and belfast sink and I have to say, it all looks much more expensive than I actually paid, so I would definately recommend Cloisters to anyone - provided you can find them tucked away in a neat unit in an industrial estate in Hemel Hempstead! Dont worry, their website takes care of that problem!

Having built many homes and commercial buildings im always on the look out for another kitchen company. I think I've found the one now. Cloisters product is both in-expensive and high quality. Thanks to Colin and Mike for the help they gave me.

I was very surprised and impressed when I rang up and spoke to Mike, in fact I spoke to Mike on many occasions as did my very demanding wife. Well fairs fair it is her kitchen. The service and advice was great and consistent and when the deal was done, the kitchen was delivered and we are all very pleased.

After an initial hick-up over the delivery, which was dealt with promptly and efficiently by Mike, I have finally had my kitchen installed. The finished result has easily exceeded my expectations. The quality of the units and the overall design, both in terms of aesthetics and practicality could only be matched by a far more expensive product. For sheer quality, Cloister kitchens are in a class of their own!
